Dave brings more than 20 years of experience in the turfgrass industry to Black Earth, with a career spanning golf course operations, agronomy, equipment, and distribution. He began his career in golf course maintenance, gaining experience at several premier private clubs before advancing to the role of Golf Course Superintendent.

Dave later transitioned into the distribution side of the industry, where he represented a Kansas-based turf equipment distributor and worked closely with professionals across a wide range of turfgrass operations. This combination of hands-on agronomic experience and extensive industry sales knowledge gives him a unique perspective on the operational challenges, equipment needs, and long-term priorities of turf professionals.

Throughout his career, Dave has built a reputation for industry knowledge, practical problem-solving, and a strong understanding of customer needs. His broad experience allows him to approach the turfgrass industry from both an operational and business perspective.

Outside of work, Dave enjoys traveling with his fiancée and spending time on their land with their dogs.
