James Banahan, CCA is a Territory Sales Representative for Black Earth, supporting agricultural retailers, agronomists, and growers across the Midwest. With more than 20 years of experience in agronomy, agricultural sales, and production agriculture, he helps customers apply practical humic solutions that improve soil health, nutrient efficiency, and crop performance.

James has worked across Kansas, Nebraska, Iowa, and the broader Midwest in roles spanning agronomy, conservation, and sales. His background includes crop nutrition, soil fertility, seed, crop protection, precision agriculture, conservation planning, and on-farm research. He holds a Bachelor of Technology in Agriculture from Northwest Missouri State University and is a Certified Crop Adviser.

At Black Earth, James works closely with customers to integrate humic technology into fertility programs that support productivity, profitability, and long-term soil performance.
